Music Copycat
Notice my new tunes? I liked Adrienne's & made the comment that I needed some so she assumed she was the one for the job, right she was. So, she chose the Cotton Fields song. It is really sweet because my daddy sang that to me every night before bed, he never mentioned Creedence Clearwater Revival (who would?). Many have dubbed this tune but I need to ask him who he got the inspiration from to sing it to his 2 year old. (I am sure my age is showing). I always thought he sang it because his parents farmed cotton - I love to think about it so it fits me & my blog...I sing to my 3 all the time, and we are always dancing around the living room. I guess if you hate my tunes or tunes in general, turn down the volume?!?!?

I've been tagged
by my littlest sis, Adrienne. I am supposed to tell 8 fun facts about myself. 8? I do not think I have 8, but I will give it a shot. Most of you know, this blog is private so you would know about me anyway! Also, I think Jamie tagged me one time too. Here it goes....
1. My eldest child, Faith Rebekah - she is the tallest kid for a just turned 6 year old, sensitive, sweet spirited & already truly loves Jesus and is not afraid to tell anyone. She is very smart & observant & loves her friends & family dearly. I named her because God really built my faith in trusting Him to have her & take care of her.
2. Claire Elise -little but MIGHTY! She was 3 in January & her summer swimsuit was an 18mos. However, all of sudden she is tall & needs 4t in dresses. She taught me how much God makes us all different. She is strong willed, a leader & personality plus with big blue eyes that melt your heart with her sparkly smile. She was also born with a broken collarbone - yes, I was afraid the little gymnast did it to herself but after much professional research she was born with it, it does not hurt, if you were wondering.
3. William Christopher - named after my daddy & Craig's big brother. His name means mighty warrior & cross bearer. He is the icing on the cake, a much prayed for baby boy, almost a year in 14 days! I used to think he loved me the best but lately Craig is rating top - he says DA (daddy, of course) all day & loves to look at Craig's deer mount (which could also be a fact about me, I now own a deer & bass mount, no more!) No joke, I almost died after he was born. I hemorrhaged terribly & it took me mos. to remember the details of the day. Forever, I felt like I would wake up in the middle of the night & remember something else that happened. You didn't know this was a birth story post huh?
4. I was born with a septum uterus (ugh - I know - answers infertility & hemorrhaging issues also - I could link it but nah....). I think I was the only one of us 3 to have that strange thing. Btw, fertility issue obviously solved itself quickly after Faith & faith. :)
5. I have never been camping, never. Pearsons have a major farm background but William put his 3 dtrs. in motels/hotels. My girls love to play deer camp with dad, I feel a camp time coming. Have you heard of Garner State park in Frio? Nice place, you can rent cabins & Craig can camp outside as dadof3.
6. I have NEVER lived ANYWHERE else but Beaumont, Texas. I know, I know, you are all so envious! Greenridge to Shakespeare to Laurel to Treadway to Monica to Sul Ross - a few strange nights spent away from these lovely homes/apartments but that is about it...77706 0r 77707 zip code. One of my old phone numbers is now the post office, yep, real interesting! (Whose idea was this again?)
7. I have had more speeding tickets than I can count - 8 maybe more since 1993 - none before then. I always get one when I am pregnant but I did not with Will - someone did hit me 2x in a week though, not my fault. (Yes, Craig hates for me to drive but momof3 must). I have matured greatly since 1993, thank God.
8. I have already bought 3 Christmas gifts & made a list. Impressive since I have not ironed in 2 months. Priorities, priorities....
I tag Mere & Melanie.

It is Fall at our house

although it is 82 degrees in Beaumont & feels like 90! And yes, if you read Adrienne's blog, I stole her idea & some of my decor is from her Fall wedding. But, isn't that what bloggers do...share? I do not know why I am decorating for Fall & my kitchen is yet to be complete but I do not care. I am still contemplating colors & waiting on transition pcs. for the floor; it is amazing how one can become so calm as a mom of three, it does it to you, changes your priorities...for the best. :)* Notice I have no pumpkins? I do not think this part of the South has many at the moment, they were $ 6.99 each at one place, for a pumpkin! I am waiting on 2 for $5!

For Uncle-Boyfriend Nate...
Claire loves her Uncle Nate! Hope Uncle Nate loves her new do. The shorter the better w/her hair, it thickens it up. She never likes it when we are at the "hair studio", she says she wants her old hair back. She told me on Friday, she was never going back! Umm...yes, she is... (Btw, SHE put her bow in b/c SHE is a big girl!)**Notice her lovely jewelry, she acquired that on her short visit to spend the night at Ma's last night. (Someone decided to come home at 10:10 p.m.) She wants lots of rings & jewels! A girl after my own heart. :)
All about Faith....

this was Faith's poster in Regina-Howell's "All About Me Parade". Isn't it cute? (If I do say so myself), I had to help cut the foam board & pics but she did most of it herself - which was the idea. I *loved* that they made the kids feel very special & different. However, my heart broke for the kids who did not have a flag. We have known for 3 weeks. It irritates me that parents cannot take the time to read notes sent home & just get a poster with stickers! I would have made some extras if I would have known but how can you know if they do not show up with it on the morning of the parade. It started just after the morning announcements. The few that did not have a flag carried USA flags so that was good. Anyway, I may make a generic girl/boy one for her teacher to have in the future. Then again, am I a nut?
My fave candle...

Jeannie & Cliff brought it to me from Colorado when we kept their dog one time. It smells so yummy and the heavy ceramic jar matches the decor in "craig's den". Notice the 2nd pic, what is missing? Oohh, the pine cone motif on top! What on earth happened to it? Did it fall & break? NO! Did it just tip off all on it's own? NO! A certain handsome, blond haired - blue eyed, rough & tough boy cutie ate the top off!!!!! I was online with PayPal & our new website (total diff. post - need A or Jason's help - call me please!) and he was right behind me devouring my darling candle! I hope it tasted yummy...ceramic & glue for dinner!*Note - on the right side, it looks to be broken, it is the glare from the sunlight/camera, no photographer here. :)
