Who do I look like?

hint: notice tv on in back ground, remote is near by....larsons may only get this, good thing blog is not public, can you imagine the remarks? too bad we are not at the beach, we may not be able to tell them apart!

Jesus & Lightning McQueen

Did you know the wise men took Lightning to see Jesus? As Will was playing with the little people nativity, our convo went something like this...

me: will, this is the story of Jesus' birth, he was born in a manger because there was no room in the inn.

w: dada?

me: no, dada was not there but he loves jesus. joseph was jesus' daddy, this is joseph.

w: dada?

me: yes, that is joseph, the daddy. this is mary, jesus' mommy.

w: mama

me: yes, i love jesus too & he loves you very much. this is baby jesus.

w: uhu?

me: yes, baby jesus.

Then, he picks up lightning & keeps saying, "uhu, vroom?" (moving arms around like he is "vrooming" - this is his new thing - started about 2 weeks ago & then fell in love with red cars at cousin luke's.)

finally, i said yes, jesus loves cars too. he put jesus on the car & then crawled away. i had to get a picture. priceless. boys are so different...my girls would have rocked baby jesus. i guess the natvity scene is blessed to be on a car instead of being used as basketballs.

this car is luke's old one we found at ma's yesterday, we have the small matchbox one but it has not be seen since after breakfast today. it may be forever lost in the invisible pit in my house (i think there are some socks & jewelry in that pit too, wish i knew where it was.)

as i am typing this, i heard a clunk, he hit a little people car on my santa with the lion & the lamb..i feel a new post.

Guess what?

said tree has an on/off foot pedal...isn't that nifty? (to all consumers: please read all instructions, do not just look at the box.)

Daddy news

Craig "caught" a doe this evening, "caught" is the girls' term for killing a deer. Faith asked me if it was a bull deer? I think she meant a buck? Who knows, maybe there is such a thing. She waited up for her daddy but the other 2 tuckered out, thank you God!

It's decorated...

and it was so exciting! Some branches had 4 ornaments hanging on them. The girls had a great time & one difference between them & Will is they never desired to plow the tree over with a truck or make basketballs out of ornaments.....I could still use a gate.

The Larson/Morris Five

These are a few pics from our photo op for ma & pa's Christmas Card. There were plenty to choose from. I guess that was one good thing since we were there to get a pic with 5 kids dressed in Christmas pjs! (candy canes helped)

There is a first time for Everything...

1. My tree is never up until after Thanksgiving or the 1st of December.
2. It is pre-lit, never had one, took all of 5 minutes to put together & a little time to "fluff."
3. I am never here at this time, I am at my PARENTS! (I know you have all heard.)
4. Why when I used every setting on the camera with lights on or off, did the light not show? Then, I used the night setting & it showed all the lights but it is blurry, never got a good pic. Oh well, you get the point. We will decorate Sunday afternoon.
