a rainbow

Claire has been telling me for weeks that she is a rainbow in her chapel program at Trinity. Hannah is a strawberry, Audrey a star, Avery an inchworm, etc. Her teachers are wonderful and so artistic with the children that they encouraged them to make their props for their program. Claire made her rainbow. They gave her a white piece of posterboard that was bigger than herself & lots of strips of paper. Claire just put it all over the place, no curve like a rainbow. But, it is her work - all her work. She pointed out that God makes rainbows and never forgets His promises.

Excuse the terrible pictures, the chapel light & my camera had a war.

Just had to share this one, Claire looked so cute in it and I was thrilled the child rolling on the altar was not mine. :) We had our meltdown a little farther down the aisle on the way out of the sanctuary, maybe it was her finale? Hopefully, the cameras were not still rolling.

Crystal

She is home now. Praise God - I am so glad He is on charge. She is still recovering but hopefully she will be more comfortable at home with her family. Zach is doing great, he was down to 22% oxygen this morning and never even been on the vent! Amazing huh? Tim said the fact that he was small & then was under distress, he taught himself how to breathe deep and his lungs developed more. Only our Mighty God can know that. **** I heard today he is off oxygen, breathing on his own!

Susan and I took Faith, Claire & and Solomon to the hospital on Saturday so Hannah could show them her baby brother. She was sooo proud! Seriously, she has wore her Big Sister shirt everytime I saw her last week - I think I may buy her a different one! She is the proudest sis ever.

Please continue to pray for Crystal's healing (continued improvement in blood pressure, speech, overall health in her body) and Baby Zach's progress in NICU. Read Psalm 121, it has truly ministered to them.
You cannot see it in this pic, but Solomon wore cowboy boots with his shorts-too cute, added to the party!

Zoo

I enjoyed a very special day on Friday with Faith at the Houston Zoo. She was sooo excited, the day was a big huge deal to her! We even had to braid her hair.Notice the prairie dog scurrying away?
Faith & her friends petting a very larger rabbit. Yes, we brought purell.
Did you know a giraffe's neck is longer than 6 feet? I learned a lot too, kindergartners know more than me.

This is an okapi. The kids were fascinated by him, he can touch his eyeball with his tongue! He is almost "exint." (by Faith) They watched & watched him. TMI, as far as I was concerned.
Petting Zoo - Faith loved the animals. She asked over & over to go pet the animals. Purell....again, soap & water too. By this time, the kids got really tired. Faith said many of them slept on the bus on the way home but not my child. However, she did fall asleep at 7:50 p.m. :)

Btw, you know your child is too big when she can read the signs at the zoo. (Cannot.think.about.her.turning 7. Cannot.think.about.her.turning 7. Cannot.think.about.her.turning 7.)

Will & ear tubes

My baby boy did fine, he is a bit cranky, just plain mad we made him do it. One ear was filled with lots of old gunky stuff, which the doc said is old fluid that needed to come out. So, the procedure was well worth it. I will post a pic soon, I know my blog is so popular I had to get info out really fast! ha!

That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day. 2 Timothy 1:12
