a rainbow

Claire has been telling me for weeks that she is a rainbow in her chapel program at Trinity. Hannah is a strawberry, Audrey a star, Avery an inchworm, etc. Her teachers are wonderful and so artistic with the children that they encouraged them to make their props for their program. Claire made her rainbow. They gave her a white piece of posterboard that was bigger than herself & lots of strips of paper. Claire just put it all over the place, no curve like a rainbow. But, it is her work - all her work. She pointed out that God makes rainbows and never forgets His promises.

Excuse the terrible pictures, the chapel light & my camera had a war.

Just had to share this one, Claire looked so cute in it and I was thrilled the child rolling on the altar was not mine. :) We had our meltdown a little farther down the aisle on the way out of the sanctuary, maybe it was her finale? Hopefully, the cameras were not still rolling.
Ericka: We missed Carson! I bet he would have wanted to be basketball?! :)

You got that one right! -Basketball, Tennis ball, soccer ball, football - any of those would have made him happy. Hey, God created sport balls too- right?

P.S. That pic is so cute.
