Karen is in charge of the cookie baking & I am in charge of art. She was so patient with the girls' cut-outs but we had issues with my peppermint cookies, they looked like snakes so I made peppermint disks. They tasted good!
Our art work was handprint ornaments, marble painted candy canes, pretzel glitter charms & some funky trees that I messed up. We also had wooden snowflakes but our time was about up so we decided to save those for another time. We plan to make it a tradition each year, the first weekend in December (I know it is Nov. 30th but that fit around our schedules). We are building memories in our children's hearts that we hope they will hold precious one day. Merry Christmas!
