My children

are such a blessing. i realize more each day to not take them or the day for granted. i love their precious smiles, each of their desire to snuggle, to be held, to need comfort, their need for me, their desire to please or not, their unwavering energy and their confidence to ask any question and expect an answer. i love that they are here, safe with me & craig but yet curious, adventurous & soaring to learn more, experience more. their minds are like sponges, they soak up every word & moment throughout the day. that is the scary part. what is in a day? structure, routine, errands, school, responsibilities, service, rules, obedience, discernment, laziness, tiredness, rebellion, hurt. . . .Jesus? how much is He in my day, therefore their day?

well, i spend time in the word before they are up (usually - not everyday) which affects how we cope in a crazy morning getting faith off to school & the younger 2 to mdo 2x a week. i am thankful for the loving environment at mdo as i run the roads or tend to power castle stuff. BSF is a wonderful blessing & i am thankful that my children learn about Jesus just as i humbly strive to learn more. after each lesson, i am reminded what a dunce i really am. faith...as i write, i realize i miss her while she is at school. however, i love her teacher, she is so kind, sensitive & generous to my baby girl - who is growing up up fast! 3x a week, faith has t-ball or dance. then, we play outside (if weather permitting), cook/eat dinner, homework for one, bath time, read/play or watch tv for 20 minutes, bible story & bed. but what do they hear me say about God's love? they do because we talk about it often & i try to apply it in many of our convos but is it enough? time is short. they grow up fast. life happens, i cannot take back today tomorrow.

i know i am totally rambling but i have a had a lot on my mind lately & i just decided to randomly post when i need to be asleep. slumber helps all, it will help smooth a day, solidify decisions, and perk a spirit which equals a healthier body. now, i sleep.

** run-on sentences do not count on my blog, it may on yours but until i care, it does not apply to me. i know correct grammar, i just can't concentrate on it - currently. :)

You are one of the best Moms I know and your kids learn so much from you!! Remember not to be so hard on yourself...You'll see as they grow up and make you proud that you've done your best and that you've been heard all these years! :)

i hope someday i can use some of that motherly wisdom of yours.

and there is no such thing as grammar when blogging as far as i am concerned. or capital letter either. unless it is ALL CAPS FOR EMPHASIS.

Don't worry about rambling. Have you heard me on one of my hair brained days? Probably not, I usually just save those for Allen. When I notice his eyes glazing over and he's staring through me and not at me, then it's time to shut up. That's what journals and blogs are for!!!!
